OUTSIDE: Not only is there a wonderful HOT TUB right out the back door of the Great Room, but there is a patio area next to it to enjoy as well. Sit and visit as you soak up the sun or relax under the shaded umbrellas. 
In addition, the front patio area has lots of seating, picnic tables, and two BBQ grills. Settle into the evening or throughout the day under the gorgeous pines and quaking aspens. Play with your children and grandchildren on the playground swings. There are outdoor toys to use, including blowing bubbles, throwing water balloons at one another or setting up the “Slip and Slide.” Don’t forget the smores! The campfire pit is right there also. You will have as much fun outside as you will inside. I PROMISE!
When you want to take off for the beach, beach towels, beach toys, beach umbrellas, beach coolers are there for you to use. There is even a wagon to take your little ones in, if you want to walk to the nearby beaches. You can take a leisurely walk to the beach on 150 S which is just next to Papa Bear Lodge. If you haven’t explored the beaches by the City Park, just a couple minutes to the south, you need to do so! There are walkways through the marshes where you can enjoy nature at its best. It is so close to Mama Bear, you can actually see the cabin from the walkway.
